Comics and the City Since September 2004, Impact Comics has been Canberra City's only comic book and pop culture retailer. Now located right in the heart of the action at ground level in Garema Place conveniently near Redpath Shoes, Mindgames and all of the great coffee shops and only a short walk from the Canberra Centre and Civic Bus Interchange. All of that and we are open 7 days a week, including late night shopping until 9pm on Fridays. Whenever you need your comic book fix we are here waiting to help. Our new comics arrive weekly from the USA and are displayed alphabetically so they're easy to find. Prices on the shelf at Impact Comics are cheaper than most other shops' discounted prices, and then we give an extra 10% off that price if you've got a Standing Order. Putting a title on Standing Order means that even if you can't get in on new comic day, there'll be a copy waiting for you when you do arrive, and it'll be 10% off! Live hours away from your favourite comic shop? No worries. We know what it's like not being able to get to a comic shop, we've been there. That's why we make it easy for you to have your order mailed out. Just contact us with your needs and we'll organise your order for you. We send your order via Australia Post to keep your delivery as cheap and convenient as possible. We have years of experience with shipping comics and take great care to ensure your comics show up on time in top condition. You can even have a standing order that gets mailed out regularly, with the same great discount as a normal Standing Order.
