Comics in Libraries and Schools Print E-mail
Librarians and teachers are quickly learning the amazing appeal and limitless story telling opportunties that the comic book form provides. As you may already know, graphic novels are the "grown-up" version of the familiar comic book: longer, more in-depth, and more durable. The graphic novel Maus, for example, won the Pulitzer Prize, and other volumes have been honoured in the United States in such publications as Publisher's Weekly, School Library Journal, and VOYA.

Your school or local public library may already be stocking graphic novels: Asterix and Obelix and the popular Tintin books are excellent examples. With the great variety and diversity in the modern graphic novel, there is an appropriate title or series for every demographic!

In the past we have distributed successfully to libraries and schools across Canberra and now Queanbeyan and regional NSW. Whether it's a small selection of titles to kick start a graphic novel or manga section, or a complete class set of a single title, we've done it before and can do it again.

If your school or library is considering stocking graphic novels for a collection or class set, contact us and let us help fulfill your order, you'll find our staff know what their talking about and our prices are very competitive.
