New prison warden Rick Mastertine must outplay an ensemble of twisted supervillains bent on escape – but not all is as it seems, and one of them may have a far darker motive…
If you’re a fan of jailbreaks and the ’80’s, there’s plenty here for you to love. I quite enjoyed reading Above the Grave, and it had twists and turns that kept me wondering what was going to happen next. All in all a solid story with the makings of a rich world to explore.

Above the Grave is a fun read with cool art rounded out by a cast of interesting misfits. You’ve got a jail filled with super powered villains guarded by paramilitary wardens led by a rocker. It doesn’t get much better than this.
An 80s saturday morning vibe in a mature package.
