Graphic Novels/Trade Paperbacks

Graphic novels, trade paperbacks, hardcover collections, omnibuses… they come in lots of different shapes with lots of different names.
They are books for your book shelf with comics inside.

Trade Paperback (TP) isually a term for a volume that reprints a run of traditional magazine style comics into a single volume. You might find these numbered so you can keep following the story.

Graphic Novel (GN) is usually a term for a long form comics story with a beginning a middle and an end. But, it can often be seen getting used interchangeably with Trade Paperback. Original Graphic Novel (OGN) is often used to describe a story that was never available serialised in magazine style comic book.
