The Energon Universe

Of course, Void Rivals is only the beginning!

Void Rivals marks the start of a cohesive comics universe called The Energon Universe.

Void Rivals will share the Energon Universe with Transformers and GI Joe. This means brand new comics with a brand new storyline will be starting soon. And details are just starting to arrive!

Do You Have to Read Everything?

No. While all of the Energon Universe comics will exist in the same universe and feature characters and events related to the other books, the stories will stand alone. Read one title, or read them all, it’s up to you.

So, what will they be?

Transformers

Yep, Daniel Warren Johnson (Do A Power Bomb, Wonder Woman Dead Earth, Beta Ray Bill, Murder Falcon) is in charge of the brand new Transformers comic starting in October! We expect more details soon!

GI Joe

Joshua Williamson (Batman, The Flash, Birthright) will be the writer behind two upcoming GI Joe mini series introducing the Joes again, for the first time.

It’s a brand new spin on GI Joe, with the genesis of GI Joe and Cobra being caused by the arrival of the Transformers.

Knight Terrors: Superman artist Tom Reilly will team up with Williamson on the first mini series, DUKE, starting in December. Giving a new insight to Conrad S. Hauser AKA Duke forming the Joes.

Following in January Williamson will team up with Andrea Milana to bring COBRA COMMANDER, a mini series of the start of COBRA in this new Energon Universe.
