Saturday 7th of May is Free Comic Book Day and Impact Comics is the place where it will all be going down!

Get in line early!
The doors open at 9am, but many people try to get in earlier than that so they can secure a spot in line to be one of the first in the door!
Not only that we have surprise extra goodies in limited quantities that we will be slipping into show bags for the early birds!
(If you can’t make it in early, don’t freak out, we’ll have free comics almost all day, but some titles might run out.)

Free Comic Book Day – The Comics
The Belcher Family proudly celebrates this year’s Free Comic Book Day event with three wild and zany adventures featuring those lovable scamps Tina, Gene, and Louise, plus guest stars Bob, Linda, a… >>
There will be 50 different titles specially printed for the day. To help spread the love around we’ll ask everyone to 4 free items, so check out the list (there are previews of most of them) and plan the 4 that you want.
Bring your Family and Friends
A party is always better when you have your family and friends with you! But there are other reasons… You can share your comics around! Get 4 comics each and get a wider variety! And there are comics for every taste!
Bring your camera!
There will be lots of opportunities to get photos!
The Southern Cross Garrison of the 501st Legion will be in attendance providing stormtrooper supervision!
Players from the Canberra Roller Derby League will be zipping about meeting fans and posing for photos!
Lots of people will be in costumes!
Speaking of costumes…
Suit up!
This is like the comics shop version of Grand Final day! You gotta wear your favourite player’s uniform! Even if that uniform is a sentient symbiotic lifeform!
You are a massive part of the colour and fun on the day, so get your costumes on and be part of the fun!
Plan your sketch requests!
The fine folks from the ACT Comics Meet have once again volunteered to do free sketches all day (or until their arms fall off!)
So don’t hold up the line – plan what you are gonna ask for and be SUPER polite!

Free Comic Book Day is a worldwide event.
