Description
(W) Melvin Goodge
(A) Clarence “Otis” Dooley
2011 Eisner nominee for Best New Graphic Album. A piece of memorobilia from an alternate reality, Finding Frank and His Friend is a presentation of the “lost” work of famed illustrator Clarence “Otis” Dooley- however, Dooley and his strip never existed. Carefully manipulated to look thirty years old, this project feels authentic and familar at first glance, but upon closer examination, belongs to a world that is entirely fictional and a little bit ridiculous.
