Well, it’s gonna get a whole lot cooler!
Hosted by Canberra CBD Limited, the Tocumwal Lane pARTy will be held on Sunday 29 March in Tocumwal Lane, off Bunda Street and Petrie Plaza, as part of the CBR 31 days in March Festival.
From 11am till 4pm, a number of Canberra’s notable street artists will be painting all the blank walls in the laneway in a celebration of Canberra’s unique street art scene. Work created during the party will establish an artistic hub bringing together the unique styles and expressions spread throughout Canberra.
It’s not only established street artists who have the chance to be involved however, visitors will be invited to try their hand at painting on the walls or canvases in one of the day’s master classes.
Local foodie favourites such as Beach Burrito will be on hand to cater for visitors. Adding to the party atmosphere will be a local DJ playing music throughout the day.
The theme for the pARTy is super hero so come dressed as your favourite character as the Tocumwal Lane pARTy transforms the laneway from Clark Kent shabby to Superman chic!
